Description Bunzel looks at racism and race relations in 1991. He notes that racism does exist, but he also notes that the words "raciscm," "racist," and "equality" have been throw about too liberally, practically destroying their meaning. While aware there are many racial and ethnic groups, he speaks mostly of white and black people. He looks at phenomena labeled as racism but actually are not racism, and others that are. Bunzel's biography includes: President, San Jose State University, 1970-78; fellow, Hoover Institution, 1978- ; former commissioner, U.S. Civil Rights Commission.
