In the last three or four years, Britain has gained strength to face hard facts, including a 30 percent rate of inflation. Since 1973, the rate of growth in the money supply has been brought down to moderate levels. Jay talks about the dramatic turnaround in Britain's financial position. Britain now has a legitimate reason to actively confront world problems. These include human rights, the Middle East, southern Africa, and NATO strengthening.
