The United States needs to accept the role of world leader. Power, excellence and creative innovation are the elements of leadership, but these elements must be combined with strong convictions and courage to be truly effective. The United States must not lose its idealism or realism when dealing with communism, but must continue to maintain an image of strength, power and determination.
