Description

The expulsion of Yugoslavia from the Soviet sphere raises questions from the West. Smyth thinks the Soviet strategy is to use Yugoslavia to earn the West?s trust, and then obtain secret plans that normally would be unavailable to the communists. Meanwhile Yugoslavia can serve the Soviets and at the same time receive economic support from the West.
