Item Title The Moroccan Dilemma
Speaker Landau, Rom (1899-)
Date CreatedJanuary 08, 1954
Description

Landau looks at the situation in Morocco following the previous summer's deposition of the sultan. He says the Moroccan people believe the sultan would not have been deposed with American intervention, and that the Moroccan debate in the UN further soiled relations between Morocco and America. He says that today, at least a half of Moroccans have an unfavorable view of the United States. He also says Moroccans are more worried about European colonialism than communism.
