Item Title Morocco, Tangier, and France
Speaker Landau, Rom (1899-)
Date CreatedJanuary 16, 1953
Description

The French occupation of Morocco has not been of mutual benefit to both countries. Moroccans do not have the freedom to travel without restriction in the country. They do not want their children to be educated in a completely different system. From the French side, the budget for Morocco gets tight, and French taxpayers have to pay the bill. A mutual agreement that creates a better administration, like the one in Tangier, could be achievedand would guarantee that both countries benefit.
