Description

Koos explains that the Chinese delegation's objectives at the United Nations conference are: (1) to contribute its part in setting up a machinery through which peace and security may be maintained, and (2) to cooperate with the other members of the United Nations in promoting the welfare of all people and in establishing the rule of law in international conduct. He states that the emergence of a united China will be a stabilizing factor in the far east and Pacific, and thus a valuable asset in our common purpose to preserve peace in the world.
