Description

The free democratic countries of Asia are anxious about United States policy toward Asia in the wake of the Vietnam War‘s outcome and the February 1972 U.S.-China joint communique. Park discusses the artificial division of Korea and the threat it presents to world peace. North Korea‘s clamoring for a peace treaty is nonsensical. North Korea is trying to drive a wedge between South Korea and the U.S. Trade with the U.S. has made great strides, so that the Republic of Korea is the thirteenth greatest importer from and the seventeenth greatest exporter to the U.S. Park talks about U.S. withdrawal from South Korea.
