Item Title Is Strong Economic Recovery a Fact or Fallacy?
Speaker Simon, William E. (1927-2000)
Date CreatedJune 18, 1976
Description

Economic illiteracy is a major problem in the United States, and what is at stake is the private sector. Those who warn that the government cannot solve problems are either outdated theorists or a new generation of economic explorers. Economic freedom is something that most people don‘t appreciate until it runs out. The private sector is responsible for economic growth. Government spending has increased over the decades because we suffer from a failure of success. The policies that were implemented are still working, because the rates of unemployment and inflation are down.
