Two reports from American journalist Leslie Nichols in one recording.

In the first, he analyzes how Radio Tokyo reports the war, contrasting it with his first-hand experiences in the battle for Formosa.

The second report is his live coverage of fighter groups landing on air craft carriers. One of the planes seems to have missed its landing and wound up in water.
