Item Title Agriculture Labor Relations Act of 1975
Speaker Kintz, Walter L.
Date CreatedNovember 28, 1975
Description

Kintz addresses concerns that have arisen about the California Agricultural Labor Relations Board. In its first four months, the board has been buried in unfair labor practice complaints and lawsuits. As a deficit operation, and because of the controversy that has followed it, the board's continued funding is not guaranteed. While raised expectations have led to intense criticism, Kintz argues that the board has not been given a chance to function for a sufficient length of time. The board is ultimately beneficial to California, and Kintz stresses that it needs time and support to establish itself.
