Part 1: John Noble

Noble speaks about the American system as compared to the Soviet Union system. A proponent of 'right or wrong, my country', he analyzes several dimensions of the ideological conflict, including on religious grounds, and especially his experiences in the Soviet gulag. The majority of his talk is recounting these experiences.

Part 2: Ronald Reagan

Reagan speaks about communist influence, starting with Hollywood, but quickly extending his focus to international relations. Reagan focuses on encroaching socialism and communism under the banner of liberalism. Topics discussed in the process include Veterans hospitals, healthcare, Social Security as a tax and not a retirement plan, agriculture, legislation by civil servant, government corporations, the income tax, the currency, and inflation.

While the sound quality is poor throughout, there are audible defects at about 2:45 and 39:22. These are heard on the source tape and were not a byproduct of the transfer process.
