Description

Brother L'Hommedieu examines financial matters in light of keeping one's independence now and in the coming future. He sees a bleak future before the country, comparing the future to the 1929 depression, saying there is nothing one can do to prevent the depression, only to respond to it.

He advocates the listener operate on self-reliance in building and preserving their finances. He warns the listener to not going into the business of money lending and charging interest, citing verses from the Bible.
