Many of Bishop Robinson's fellow Anglicans would subscribe to WFB's assertion that "if this were an age in which it was fashionable to go after heresy, I would be addressing tonight the former Bishop of Woolwich," although it would be hard to either substantiate or refute that assertion on the basis of this exchange, in which His Grace is relentlessly bland and benevolent.
