He addresses the interdependence of the West and OPEC, emphasizing the benefits of cooperation over confrontation, and the need for global solutions. Finally, he recommends creating more international consultative organizations, like the Trilateral Commission, to determine how best to weather current issues of unemployment, inflation, and energy dependence.
