Item Title The Japanese Approach to Problem Solving
Speaker Terasawa, Yoshio
Date CreatedApril 19, 1974
Description

There is a beneficial relationship between Japan and the United States. The two countries have a relationship based on mutual consideration and support. Terasawa points out the "you to I" versus the "you to you" method of discussion, where the Japanese prefer to avoid confrontation and Americans seem to benefit from it. He contrasts methods of work, management style, and business in the two countries. He concludes with the idea that the "Age of the Pacific" will be peaceful and prosperous.
