In an address at the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development 45th annual conference in San Antonio, TX, Joseph Cronin discusses business interest in schools. He introduces a typology of corporate involvement to show the variety of relationships businesses may have with schools, and then goes into detail about the Boston Compact, which is the city’s collaborative school improvement agreement among stakeholders in city government, the Boston school system, and Boston businesses. A question and answer session follows Cronin's address.
