Description
Christopher Emmet interview with Frank Barnett concerning the withdraw of the United States from Vietnam. Mr. Barnett is critical of advertisements in newspapers calling for withdraw, especially professors who sign these ads even when they do not specialize in international relations nor South East Asia. The men discuss isolationism, non-intervention, and relaxing of tensions in regards to Vietnam and communism in general. Further analyzed is the relationship between public information and the limitations of civil liberties. The interview concludes discussing the left-right political spectrum and name calling of fascists, socialists, communists, et cetera.
