The show is a debate between Gordon Zahn, author of In Solitary Witness: The Life and Death of Franz Jägerstätter, and Christopher Emmet, representing the American Council on Germany. The men debate the accuracy of the play "The Deputy" and if Pope Pius could be considered a criminal for his acquiescence of the holocaust. The men mention both good and bad things the Pope did during the war.
