Allen Drury interviews Verne Orr, United States Secretary of the Air Force, in the course of doing research for his next novel. Among other topics, Orr describes the Air Force's relationship with the other branches of the military, the speed at which weapons projects are approved, the weapons testing process, and his thoughts on the Soviets. He takes issue with the ease at which information is given to the Soviets, particularly through academic channels. Sound quality on this recording is fairly poor.
