On the side A of this recording, Leslie Nichols reports from Guam on the anniversary of the Normandy landing. He introduced Marine Corps Sergent Bill Roth who interviews two soldiers that were at both D-Day and the battle of Iwo Jima. The soldiers offer their comparisons of the German and Japanese soldiers.

On side B, Don Bell gives an overview of the American effort in the Pacific.
