Part 1:
Chapter XIII Muerte de su amiga intoxicada por la fumigacion en la finca, Chapter XIV Sirvienta en la capital: She speaks of the work in the nurseries. Many times people from the indigenous communities would go to work on these large estates in order to make money to survive. She speaks of how they were taken advantage of in this type of labor and how her good friend died as a result of fumigation and chemicals sprayed in the fields. She eventually decides to leave this work and follow the path of her sister to work in the capital as a servant. She proceeds to talk about this experience and the discrimination she faced from the family she worked for.
Part 2:
Chapter XIV Sirvienta en la capital, Beginning of Chapter XV Carcel del padre. Conflicto con los terratenientes. Defensa de las tierras. Preso de Nuevo el Padre. Creacion del CUC: She speaks more of her time as a servant in the city and her relationship with her father at the time. He visits her to get money and he faces discrimination from the family who she works for. She speaks of her friend that worked along with her in the house and who translated for her to the family. When she returns to the community they start working to defend themselves from the soldiers and landowners.
