Program includes four segments. Topics include: 1. news reports from Almaty: a) Tashkent (Uzbekistan) meeting of Presidents of the CIS states scheduled for 16 December 1992, b) discussion about the demolition of the monument to the Communist Party leaders, c) visit of the Heads of Radio Azattyk and Voice of America to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and meeting with Nursultan Nazarbayev; 2. Interview with Research Fellow of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, Amankos Mektep, concerning the goals and objectives of the "Arys"; 3. Discussion concerning the problems of repatriant Kazakhs from Mongolia to Kazakhstan and problems of repatriant Kazakhs from Mongolia to the city of Kokshetau; and 4. part three of an interview with writer, Smagul Elubaj.
