Item Title A Conservative Labor Board?
Speaker Miller, Edward B. (1922-2006)
Date CreatedApril 21, 1972
Description

Miller begins with an exploration of whether the NLRB is a conservative labor board. He defines conservatism and concludes that a review of board decisions since the beginning shows that virtually every board member has been true to the fundamentally conservative principles of tradition and social stability that were embodied in its founding legislation. He calls for the NLRB to be given the authority of any other judiciary.
