Description

Since joining OEO, Sanchez has seen a great deal of poverty in the United States. He believes our society is moving toward abolishing poverty. Community action agencies, established by OEO, help people out of poverty at the community level. Neighborhood service centers are the core of these agencies. OEO also experiments with ways to deliver health care and legal services to the poor. He also talks about experiments with improving children's education.
