Rx for Airlines?
2003c87_a_0008850_r01.MP3
Item Title Rx for Airlines?
Speaker Maytag, L. B. (Lewis B.)
Date CreatedOctober 15, 1971
Description

Maytag argues that airlines serving California will be largely unable to meet noise standards established by the state's Department of Aeronautics. He says manufacturers have not found a practical answer to the noise of first generation jets. He then states the airline industry is retrofitting planes to meet federal clean air standards. Maytag also discusses other airline industry concerns, such as interest rates and other expenses, passenger numbers, and fares.
