Speaker Fitzhugh, Gilbert W.
Date CreatedFebruary 26, 1971
Description

Fitzhugh argues that many of society's perceived problems can be fixed with hard work and thrift. He believes that this is also true for government and economic policy, and that the United States must actively work to curb inflation while increasing productivity in both the private and public sector. These actions, he concludes, will produce a stronger base from which to draw government revenues, ultimately raising the standard of living for everyone.
