Lindo describes his acting career in Hollywood. He lists his roles in Malcolm X (1992), Crooklyn (1994), and Clockers (1995) as his turning point. He recounts historical fact with film-making, using his experiences in Glory & Honor (1998) and Strange Justice (1999) as examples. Motivating young African-Americans to study and pursue the sciences as a career was a motivation to his work in The Core (2003). He worked on Wondrous Oblivion (2003) in order to pay homage to Caribbean immigrants in the United Kingdom.
