Item Title A Nuclear Space Odyssey
Speaker Seaborg, Glenn Theodore (1912-)
Date CreatedJuly 27, 1970
Description

Seaborg argues that nuclear energy is the only viable fuel for future space travel. He anticipates that the SNAP (Secondary Nuclear Auxiliary Power) nuclear reactor power system will help make possible future projects, such as huge space stations and extended trips into deep space.

The sound quality of the recording is lacking at points, especially towards the end, due to poor slitting of the original tape.
