Description
The co-sponsors of the Campaign Finance Reform Bill, recently passed by the U.S. Senate, discuss their bill as it awaits debate in the House of Representatives. The bill is aimed at stemming the large flow of so-called "soft money" into the coffers of congressmen. McCain claims that political campaigns are currently financed by "a system of legalized bribery and legalized extortion." Feingold agrees, claiming that soft money "has corrupted our political process."
