Item Title Who Owns America's Public Corporations?
Speaker Pickens, T. Boone (Thomas Boone)
Date CreatedDecember 13, 1985
Description

Pickens describes corporate ownership and management, saying stock holders are the "glue" of the American free enterprise system. He criticizes corporate management for, among other things, not respecting the role of stock owners. He says leadership should be afraid of share holders.

Boone takes offense at the term "corporate raider," and during the question-and-answer session also speaks about the terms "greenmail" and "junk bonds," detailing--in a positive light--what those terms describe, especially junk bond financing.
