Item Title International and Nuclear Terrorism
Speaker Shabtai, Sabi H.
Date CreatedFebruary 06, 1981
Description

Even though the number of terrorist attacks has decreased, Shabtai reminds Americans that terrorism still exists and should not be ignored. He discusses past terrorist attacks in many countries and their damaging indirect consequences. Those consequences included loss of democracy, rise of military dictatorship, and political chaos in the Middle East. Shabtai warns the public of what will come if no serious actions against terrorism are taken. He offers several suggestions on what the government can do nationally and internationally to minimize and prevent terrorist attacks.
