Item Title The Libertarian Agenda and the Reagan Administration
Speaker Clark, Ed (1930-)
Date CreatedJanuary 30, 1981
Description

Clark explains the beliefs of his Libertarian Party and compares its goals to those of President Ronald Reagan. He discusses how Reagan won the presidential election, Reagan's shifting standing on the draft, and how taxpayer money has not been effectively by the Reagan administration to improve the economy. Clark examines United States foreign policy and what he sees as meaningless military interventions in foreign countries. In closing, he emphasizes that the federal government should not impose too many regulations on its people because Americans should have freedom to make decisions in matters that affect their lives.
