Speaker Miller, George (1945-)
Date CreatedSeptember 07, 1979
Description

One month ago Miller was in Southeast Asia as part of a fact-finding mission appointed by the speaker of the House of Representatives. In this address Miller shares his observations and conclusions. Refugees in the relocation camps are growing in number, and economic conditions in Vietnam continue to drive people from their homes. Miller recommends redirecting United State policy to help improve the conditions of people in Asia, and provide assistance to those who flee.
