Item Title The Streets are Exploding in New Directions
Speaker Williams, A. Cecil
Date CreatedApril 21, 1978
Description

The streets are exploding in many different directions; Williams talks about some of the new directions. He talks about the people on the streets, their hopes and aspirations, and their destructive moods. Those on the streets feel tired of being manipulated. They are acting out how they feel--angry, frustrated, and anxious. The streets are exploding because people want a response. The 1970s are the age of destructions, because we have been destructed by distractions. Williams wants to move to a period of responsibility. There are people who come from the worst situations who are looking for a new direction, for education and work.
