Description

Indonesia is the fifth largest nation in the world and only obtained its independence in 1949. Indonesia has rejoined the United Nations, World Bank, and International Monetary Fund. The country, and other non-communist countries surrounding China, serves as a containment buffer mitigating the communist threat. The United States should pay close attention to Indonesia's progress and extend it all necessary assistance.
