Killam, Keith
Date CreatedJune 21, 1968
Description
Dr. Killam speaks about the effect drug abuse is having on society. He focuses on the interaction of drugs, both legal and illegal, on mental health. He believes many in society are using drugs, including alcohol and marijuana, to solve increasingly trivial problems. He highlights the effects on the maturing segment of our society as alarming. He reminds the audience that whenever a drug is taken, and for whatever purpose, there is a biological price attached. He argues that to achieve effective solutions to this situation, control of drug use must become everyone's problem.
