Description

Both California‘s college age population and proportion of college attendees is growing. The University of California is facing rising costs and enrollments. Although families and private foundations are part of college financing, state and federal funding are crucial. Students may have to pay higher tuition costs, and this may cause some to defer college. The University has tightened its belt, and the Regents must continue to operate efficiently if the University is to meet the demands of growth and maintain its quality of education.
